Weileyuan Garden Lanes 卫乐园
泰安路120弄 · 兴国路以西北侧
Financed by the Continental Bank, this residential ensemble contains garden houses in several Western architectural styles. Theatre and film director Huang Zuolin lived at No. 1. The entrance belongs to a neighbourhood of separate homes.
The modest semicircular arch has cream plaster, red-brown decorative relief and tiled wall caps. The highlight marks the entrance arch only. Houses sit behind walls and trees; it does not identify an individual resident’s house.
